Yeltsin Cup 2014: any fan can personally reach out to any of 120 volleyball players!
Exactly in one month, in the 12-th time in a row, in Yekaterinburg starts the International women’s volleyball tournament for the trophy of Yeltsin Cup.
This year volleyball fans will find a lot of pleasant activities at the competition venue: lotteries, competitions, aqua makeup. In addition, anyone can record a personal or collective greeting to the volleyball players that will be competing for the trophy. Yekaterinburg Sport Palace DIVS will gather 120 athletes from 6 countries therefore, for sure, volleyball fans will find something to say to all participants – it can be poems, songs, simply nice words that you always wanted to say to your favorite player but perhaps there was no such possibility before. The organizers of the Yeltsin Cup 2014 provide you such a chance! Video greetings (720 x 576 pixels) should be sent by e-mail uralochka.ntmk@mail.ru with indication of the city that you are from. Video duration should be not more than 1 minute.
The organizing Committee will accept videos up till July 1st.
Video greetings will be available for viewing on the screens of competition arena during the official opening ceremony on July 9th at 18:00. The author of the best video will be awarded!

Владимир Кузюткин возглавил сборную Болгарии
Известный екатеринбургский специалист Владимир Кузюткин на стартующем 9 июля в екатеринбургском ДИВСе XII международном турнире женских сборных команд «Кубок Бориса Ельцина» будет возглавлять сборную Болгарии.
Напомним, что Кузюткин являлся главным тренером сборной России на победном для нашей страны чемпионате мира 2010 года в Японии, после чего оставил пост наставника национальной команды.
Для сборной Болгарии соревнования на Урале станут ключевым этапом в подготовке к «Гран-при». Болгарская команда выступает во втором по рангу дивизионе этого турнира и будет хозяйкой «Финала четырех».
Под руководством Кузюткина болгарки уже провели два первых для себя матча. Соперниками болгарок были волейболистки сборной Голландии, с которыми сборная России будет соперничать на групповом этапе чемпионата мира 2014 года. Оба спарринга выиграли представительницы страны тюльпанов — 3:2 и 3:0. Кстати, команда Голландии, как и Болгария, примет участие в екатеринбургском турнире.
Соперниками россиянок в столице Урала с 9 по 13 июля, кроме двух перечисленных, станут также спортсменки Доминиканской Республики, Японии и Казахстана.
Кубок Ельцина — турнир, имеющий статус официального соревнования в календаре ФИВБ. Для российской сборной это будет второй старт в новом сезоне после традиционного турнира «Волей Мастерс» в швейцарском Монтре и первый старт, который наша команда проведет в составе, близком к оптимальному. Кстати, главный тренер российской дружины Юрий Маричев вызвал на первый сбор двух волейболисток екатеринбургской команды «Уралочка-НТМК»: Ирину Заряжко и Екатерину Чернову.
Напомним, в прошлом году Кубок Ельцина, выполненный из уральских драгоценных камней, достался сборной России.

Yeltsin Cup 2014: Volleyball unites! This year 6 national teams will be united by volleyball.
Less than 2 months left before the annual international tournament Yeltsin Cup-2014. For the moment participation of 6 national teams is confirmed. They are Russia, the Netherlands, Japan, Bulgaria, Dominican Republic and Kazakhstan.
First leg of the tournament will be organized traditionally – all teams will be separated in 2 groups. Two best teams in each group will pass to the semifinals and compete for championship. Let us remind that last year Cup made of Ural stones was won by Russian team.
This year Russian national team includes 5 players of Uralochka-NTMK. Russian head coach called for Irina Zaryazhko, Victoriya Chaplina, Aleksandra Pasynkova, Ekaterina Chernova and Kseniya Ilchenko to participate in first training camp.
The schedule of the tournament includes charity project where world best volleyball players and young players of «Uralochka» sport school will check their trees on the «Volleyball alley» and increase the number of trees.
Traditionally the honorary guest of the competition will be the wife of the first President of Russia Naina Yeltsina.
