Matches of the fourth day ran in Yekaterinburg at the international volleyball tournament Yeltsin Cup 2017. Russian national team met with Bulgaria and won in all three sets.
The first set was equal. The court hosts attacked confidently, but often could not block the rapid returns of the competitors. The main star of Bulgarian team Elitsa Vasileva who now plays in Dinamo Kazan set the pace of the attacks. To the middle of the set Russians had the excel of 3 points – 16:13, but soon let won themselves – 18:19.
Attacker from Uralochka-NTMK Kseniia Parubets managed to change the situation gaining 4 points in row. The end was also pleasant for Russian team – 25:22.
In the second set fans could see a little advantage of Russia, but the game, in general, was equal. After a thrilling end, our team won – 26:24.
In the third period Russians saved the pace and by the second technical time-out had a very comfort domination – 16:9, and by the end -25:18 in the set and 3:0 in the match. That was the third Russian victory at the tournament.
In another match of the day national team of Serbia defeated Turkish team with a score 3:1 (25:17, 18:25, 25:21, 25:22). In the last tournament day, the final match will be between two favorites of the Yeltsin Cup 2017 – national teams of Russia and Serbia. Volleyball fans will see a hot game.
